The wide range of tools used within companies and organizations continues to grow, with the aim of increasing efficiency and automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks. With this multitude of tools, the question arises of interoperability and connections to gain in efficiency. No longer do we have to spend time and money developing interconnected tools : no code and low code have arrived, with solutions for setting up simple workflows, making daily life easier and giving users ever greater scope for personalization and appropriation of the range of solutions available to them.

Sindup has seized the opportunity to identify areas for optimization, coupling Sindup with Zapier and providing dedicated support to help users identify and implement the solution that suits them best.

What is Zapier ?

Zapier is a no-code tool that allows automation of tasks and connection of your Sindup account to other tools. For example, you can create tasks to distribute links to articles in a competitive intelligence folder to other tools (Slack, Microsoft Excel, Hubspot, etc.), or insert an AI-generated summary as a comment on each article. Thanks to its vast catalog of integrations (searchable by tool or business case), Zapier has established itself as the essential tool for automating tasks and workflows between third-party solutions.

Why you should integrate Zapier as part of a competitive intelligence solution?

Interrogate an AI tool to rewrite an article in a different way, or explain complex content (e.g. patent, scientific publication) in simpler language.

With "inbound" flows - enriching intelligence contributions

Interroger un outil d'IA pour réécrire un article d’une autre façon, ou expliquer un contenu complexe (exemple brevet, publication scientifique) dans un langage plus simple.

In "outbound" flows - optimize data or deliverables produced by the intelligence function

Automatically push articles to CRM, collaborative, project or data management tools..

templates Sindup pour ZapierTo help our users take their first steps with the Sindup/Zapier connector, we've created templates with some popular workflows, such as sending content to Teams, or sending content via Outlook (mail).

How does it work ?

Before getting started, you need to think about the applications you want to connect to Sindup.

Contact Sindup support to activate the access.

Then, choose the trigger (event, such as the validation of an article in the Sindup competitive intelligence platform), and set up the action you want to activate following the trigger.

Each time a "zap" is triggered with the workflow in place, the data is sent securely from one application to another.

Competitive intelligence use cases using Zapier with Sindup

  1. Push an article to Hubspot to alert sales teams to new information about their customer or prospect.
  2. Push an article or information to a collaborative space, messaging system or intranet such as Slack, Whatsapp, Google, Telegram...
  3. Interrogate an AI tool (ChatGPT, Hugging Face
Anthropic (Claude) to rewrite the article in a different way, or for a different audience.

Requirements for using the connector

To get started with this solution, you need to be a customer of the Sindup market intelligence platform with an active subscription, and also hold a Zapier subscription to be able to take advantage of the connector. Zapier offers a tiered subscription based on the number of tasks (Zaps) and expected functionalities. https://zapier.com/pricing.

Help with getting started

Sindup can help you identify the most appropriate optimizations and get to grips with the settings, with a dedicated half-day workshop entitled "Implementing task optimizations within your competitive intelligence system with Zapier". For customers who wish to implement other external tools, customized support can be offered.
