The SATT Network (Réseau SATT in french) comprises 13 entities, Technology Transfer Acceleration Companies (Sociétés d'Accélération du Transfert de Technologies) dedicated to supporting public research. They contribute to the value creation of scientific innovations from over 150,000 researchers across France by supporting their development. As strategic partners for companies seeking growth through innovation, they offer a wide range of economic actors "de-risked," high-potential solutions.
In this environment marked by strong technological and sectoral diversity, access to qualified information is a key asset in supporting innovation projects.

Challenges
At the heart of the research valorization ecosystem, the SATTs operate across a wide range of topics, from engineering sciences to health, agriculture, and agri-food.
To best support decision-making for innovation projects, SATT staff must keep a close watch on scientific developments, various markets, major trends and public policy, as well as events related to the topics they cover.
To meet this need, a shared market intelligence service was set up, capable of producing high-quality, responsive, and directly actionable information. The resulting deliverables benefit a wide audience (250+ users in 2026) with varied profiles: project managers, marketing team members, and Business Development staff across the SATT Network.
Market intelligence setup with Sindup

Sindup is used to centralize the collection, analysis, curation, and distribution of information across all the topics monitored by SATT stakeholders. The platform makes it possible to manage recurring monitoring and one-off requests simultaneously, adapting to sometimes highly specialized subjects.

Day-to-day market intelligence work is coordinated by a team of information specialists from the SATTs leading the shared initiative. They handle configuration, curation, and the production of deliverables for the network's beneficiaries. New topics are regularly added based on needs expressed by teams and/or partners.
The service's main deliverables take the form of newsletters, which are by far the format users prefer. Their frequency and content can be adapted based on expressed needs. Newsletters are made available through a shared internal portal common to all SATTs, which centralizes all content and strengthens access to and visibility of the service.
The rollout of the service was supported by webinars for the 13 SATTs, helping raise awareness of market intelligence among teams and surface new needs.
Results

In 2024, more than 1,150 newsletters were distributed across around forty topics, with roughly 30 issues sent out weekly. By early 2026, more than 70 market intelligence topics had been proposed. The service has reached a genuine operational cruising speed, combining continuous market intelligence work with specific requests.
User feedback has been very positive, with a high satisfaction rate and qualitative comments highlighting the relevance of the information provided, particularly for decision support and project guidance.
Outlook
The SATT Network now aims to strengthen reader engagement and continue expanding the range of topics covered. The ambition is to establish shared market intelligence as a structuring tool supporting innovation, technology transfer, and the wider SATT ecosystem.
Contributors involved in the initiative also want to work on building a list of companies mentioned and identified in the bulletins, with the ability to "query" this list.
